I’ve written about a lot of different things.
I started as a games industry journalist in 2007. From there, I have written and edited for various publications over the years. Here is a small sample of websites you’ll find my name.
Power-Up Digital Games Conference
Designed, hosted, and managed by Arthur Collins
The PDGC was a way to connect with developers and anyone willing to learn via the first digital conference to be held on Discord. The guest speakers were veterans, both young and old, from across the industry’s history. Three entirely volunteer-run, free events were held over a year and a half and garnered hundreds of attendees.

When the job requires you to roll up your sleeves…
Not long after I started writing professionally, I struck out on my own, working with public relations, marketing, community management, website design, and so much more. Let’s take a small look at some of the companies and games that I’ve worked with.

Professor Chime
Professor Chime was the name for my now defunct YouTube and Twitch channels with a hard focus on the international hit, Pokémon. I was a Partnered YouTuber and Verified Twitch streamer with hundreds of thousands of views on some videos.

About Me
Journalist, Editor, Public Relations, Marketing, Comms, Community Management, Mentor…
Here’s my best elevator pitch about myself. My name is Arthur Collins. I’ve spent my entire adult life networking, advocating, and helping shape the video game industry when I could. I want to continue that path to build from the constant razing of the industry that I grew up loving and eventually became part of.

Starting in 2007, I created a blog and forum, We The Gamers, dedicated to showing that video games didn’t cause violence in a world constantly told that it did. From there, I met some very important people in the games industry who helped shape the next decade and a half of my life. I want to help teach and mentor those who are in my old shoes and need a path forward.
Walter Day’s Superstars of 2019
Under my previous name, I was awarded an official Walter Day trading card and official page in the history books for my work as the Editor in Chief of Twin Galaxies from 2017-2019. Day was the founder and former owner of Twin Galaxies and I’m #3156 of the set line ongoing since 2011.
